Mrs. Wright is focusing on Reading and Language Arts and Mrs. Woods is focusing on Math, Science, and Social Studies. We have an amazing year planned for you all and we cannot wait to get to know each of you for your individual strengths. Everyone is different so I do not want to hear, "I am not good at Math!" But rather, "Math is not my strongest subject." We will work with each of you on your strengths and your areas of weakness and will have so much fun in the process. You have to promise me one thing...That you will give me 110% all the time. In return I will promise you the same thing! You work hard now, you can play later or you can play now, and work much harder later. Let's get ready for an amazing school year!!!

- My name is Mrs. Jessica Woods previously I was Ms. Jenkins but I got married to my fantastic husband over the summer of 2008 and my last name changed. I grew up in Gainesville, Florida and loved my childhood. I am very close with my family and I am sure you will hear lots of stories about them. I graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Elementary Education and I am currently working on my Masters in Educational Leadership this year.

It's Your first week as fifth graders!
I am so excited about this school year. Mrs. Wright and I are doing a co-teach situation so you will have two teachers in one room at all times. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn because you will always have a teacher there to assist you in your learning process.
